Thanks to the Town of Castle Rock, Terrain includes a large, beautiful municipal park located in the heart of our neighborhoods and directly along the trail system that runs throughout our entire community.
The park includes picnic pavilions and a playground constructed with age appropriate equipment on which preschool and school age children can climb, swing and play make-believe. The western themed playground greets children with wood-like paneling that mimics the entrance to a ranch. The play area includes swings, a detailed general store and cantina, a fun horseshoe climber and the silhouette of a cowboy, who looks as if he’s taking a break before settling back onto his horse. Children can also climb a small hill to a water tower-themed play structure where a 15-foot tube slide is the fastest way back down.
In addition to picnic and play areas, the park includes a tennis court, a multi-use sports field, plenty of open space, and paved trails on which to walk, run or bike. In fact, the paved trails that weave through Wrangler Park are a part of the larger trail system that connects every neighborhood in Terrain to the regional trails in the nearby Hidden Mesa and Gateway Mesa open spaces.

The park is home to community events, like our annual 4th of July celebration and neighborhood get-togethers. Park facilities can also be reserved by residents for private events and parties.
Wrangler park is located on Autumn Sage Street, just south of our own Sage Canyon Elementary School, and is just a short walk or bike ride from every home in Terrain.
