Lifestyle is a word that means a lot of different things to different people. For those of us who live in Terrain, our lifestyle is the very definition of the Colorado ideal. It’s both nature and city, work and play, adventure and leisure.
So much of our lives happen outside our jobs and our cars. And, in Colorado, we want the freedom to spend that time as we wish… hiking, biking, tossing a Frisbee to our dog, taking our kids to the pool, at a concert in the park, celebrating with our friends, family and neighbors.
That’s why we love Terrain. Everything we need for our ideal lifestyle – a true Colorado lifestyle – is right outside our front door.
When you live here, it’s easy to understand why Terrain has been voted Community of the Year. Featuring an onsite elementary school, several large parks, nearly 600 acres of open space, an award-winning clubhouse and swimming pool, a large network of trails connecting our entire community, and year-round community events, it’s the very essence of the Colorado ideal.
If you love to hike, bike, run, swim, ski, raft or climb, but also appreciate quality restaurants, shopping and entertainment, Terrain just might be your Shangri-La. Both nature and city, work and play, adventure and leisure. When you live here, everything Colorado has to offer is literally right outside your front door.
We think the key word in “community management” is community. That sounds obvious… and yet, many of us have had experience with neighborhood organizations and HOA’s that felt otherwise. We just think that home is about more than bricks and mortar. Home is about the people who live here.
You might assume that the park was created for the benefit of our much-loved dogs, and you would be right. But, deciding to include an off-leash park within our community was just as much for the benefit of our human residents as it was for our 4-legged ones. Because dogs and humans need room for exercise and socialization.
This planned park is located next to a neighborhood in Terrain known as Ravenwood Village and backing directly into Wild Oak Open Space and Trail Network, Ravenwood Park will feature two acres of space to play, relax, gather and enjoy the great outdoors. The park will include a large in-ground slide and outdoor swimming pool, exclusive to the residents of Terrain.
The award winning Terrain Swim Club is exclusive to residents and situated on one of the best spots in the whole community. Located along the trail system that runs through our neighborhoods and open spaces, it is easily accessible to everyone who lives here and one of our favorite places to be during the long summer months.
Located along the trail system that runs through our neighborhoods and open spaces, Terrain’s Clubhouse is easily accessible to everyone who lives here perfect for year-round community gatherings. Rustic Contemporary architecture mimics the natural splendor of our land, blending the entire structure into the nearby stands of Gambel Oak. Little wonder it was named Best Clubhouse by the Homebuilders Association of Metro Denver.
Fresh air. Exercise. Spending time in nature. We love the great outdoors. Terrain is located on 1,185 acres of natural splendor, tucked away in the small valley that follows McMurdo Gulch. Nearly half of this land is reserved for parks, open space and the preservation of historical markers. So all we have to do to enjoy the great Colorado outdoors, is step outside our front door.
Located in the heart of our neighborhoods and directly along Terrain’s trail system, Wrangler Park is home to a state-of-the-art western themed playground, picnic pavilions, a multi-use sports field and tennis court, and plenty of paved trails on which to walk, run or bike. It’s a great place for kids to be kids, and grownups to be kids again.
