School’s out, and nothing says summer like a day at the pool! The Terrain HOA was excited to put on a Summer Splash party on June 3, 2017, from 12:00 – 4:00 pm. Under the direction of Terrain Lifestyle Director Kevin Taylor, more than 350 lucky residents got to enjoy an afternoon full of activities, splashing, and fun in the sun.

Live music, performed by the Mango Salsa Band, enhanced the summery and playful mood of the occasion—and also sparked plenty of spontaneous dancing! Kids got to add some pizazz to their summer suits with free face painting and glitter tattoos. The caricature artist proved to be very popular as well, with kids crowding in line to get their turn to model.

Hungry tummies were filled with slices from Amore Pizza, shaved ice from Kona Ice, and delicious cupcakes from Sweet Ride Bakeshop.

The limbo contest and group conga line were big highlights of the event! Some of the fun went home with the kids, too. Free giveaways included Hawaiian leis, pool noodles, and beach balls.

And what’s a swimming pool without a cannonball contest? The Terrain kids rose to the occasion and showed off some mad splashing skills. Sweet Ride Bakeshop was so impressed by the kids’ performance they awarded cupcakes to all the participants.
