Located next to a neighborhood in Terrain known as Ravenwood Village, and backing directly into Wild Oak Open Space and Trail Network, Ravenwood Park will feature two acres of space to play, relax, gather and enjoy the great outdoors.
Centrally located on a plateau in the heart of Ravenwood Village, the park is one of the best places in Terrain to take in spectacular views of McMurdo Gulch and the Rocky Mountains.
In addition to a large playground for kids of all ages, the park will include a long in-ground slide that is integrated into the natural topography of the hillside, taking full advantage of the natural slope. Natural rock formations on either side of the slide provide kids with an exciting way to climb back up the hill before sliding down again.
Adjacent to the Park is a large outdoor swimming pool, exclusive to the residents of Terrain, with a furnished poolside deck and lawn area. Next to the pool, you’ll find restrooms, changing rooms, BBQ grills, and shaded trellis areas perfect for summer picnics.
A large manicured lawn, perfect for a game of catch, Frisbee, or neighborhood sports match, rests in the center of the park. Shaded picnic areas and large rocks meant for climbing are sprinkled throughout. And all of it is perfectly situated to take advantage some of the best views in the area.
